Objective: The students will learn how to use the Photostory program.

Lesson:

-Students take pictures of different activities/lessons that take place during a typical day at school.
-Students will use a printout of these pictures to write a sequence of their day.
-Students then upload (on their own) their pictures into the Photostory program.
-After the pictures are uploaded, the students use their story to record their voice so that there is narrative to go along with their pictures.
-The final product is a narrative of their day using pictures.

Technology:
-Digital camera (take pictures)
-Computer (Photostory)
-Knowledge of uploading pictures and doing a voice-over
Comments
This project would use our school set of laptops. Until I am able to receive a grant for laptops the students will share the school set.
Cross-Curriculum Ideas
Once the children know the Photostory program they will be able to use it for most subjects.
