Time: At least 8 one hour periods

Procedure: Before the project takes place, teacher must provide background information on book trailers and how each piece of technology will work and be implemented.

2. Students then gather information such as the characters, setting, conflicts, and climax on paper.
3. Internet is used to find images of book settings or the book cover and be properly cited in the book trailer.
4. The mood of the book is portrayed through music from copyright free music at freeplaymusic.com.
5. Students create a video storyboard using supplied graphic organizer with descriptions of video and any narration or text that will be on each movie maker scene.
6. Filming of scenes from the book's major events using other students in the same class will take several days.
7. Students will upload their Flip Videos and import into Movie Maker. Teacher instruction of this step is a must. A step-by-step instructional paper will help.
8. Using Movie Maker students will create a title, Flip Video scenes that tell about the book, and a works cited ending. This will also take several days. All work must be saved on the hard drive or Jump drive.
9. When finalized, students will present their book trailer to the class.
