School: Zeeland Christian School, Zeeland, MI
Planned By: Joel Meyer
Original Author: Joel Meyer, Zeeland
This video was a celebration of many lessons on capitalization, organization, punctuation, and spelling. The video can be viewed on my website or on YouTube. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8m4j1Y8nhsM. My website URL. https://sites.google.com/a/zcs.org/mr-meyers-class/mr--meyer-s-music(then click on Call the C.O.P.S. video)

In addition to this fun video, I would also love to give each second grade student a chance to get behind the camera. I would divide my 28 second graders (YIKES!) into sets of 4 and let them choose one of the letters from C.O.P.S. Their job would be to produce a mini-long video showing the importance of using capitalization...punctuation or whatever they were assigned. Each short clip would require a brainstorming session, an organized script, and participation and camera time for each of the four members of each team.
