Video Puppet show – Group Project

Students will write, perform and video a puppet show in the target language.
This lesson can be adapted for any level and for any grammar point or vocabulary. The rubric below can be adapted to include any grammar structures or required vocabulary.

Vocabulary and grammar required included?
1.

2.

3.

4.

5.

Draftof puppet show will be turned in to teacher at end of the period.

Day 2: Students will edit and practice puppet show. Please DO NOT use any crazy / altered voices in your performance. It is difficult to understand you when you do not speak normally. You will use the figures / animals that we have in class. You will use the video box to move the figures / animals while performing the puppet show.

(Note for reader: The "video box" is a packing box placed on its side. The back of the box (which would be the bottom of the box) is partially covered by a curtain. The students would move the figures around the box for the puppet show. The video camera can be static, for example on a tripod, and will be focused on the inside of the box.)

Day 3: Students will video the puppet show in the video box. After evaluation by the teacher, all videos will be enjoyed by the class.

Student will be graded on:
