School: R. W. Brown, Philadelphia, PA
Planned By: Michael Larson
Original Author: Michael Larson, Philadelphia
1. Students will create their own solo performance from a number of choices (i.e. dance, drama, music, etc.). The students will tailor their performances to an imaginary audience which surrounds them (a full 360 degrees)
2. Students will practice and refine their performance
3. The 10 FLIP video cameras will be place in a full circle surrounding the student and the area for which they will perform.
4. As each individual student performs their piece, the FLIP video cameras simultaneously record the performance.
5. The video footage will be taken into the technology/computer lab at the school and in post-production, all 10 video images will be combined into one 3D/rotating image.
6. The final video project will become a presentation for all the students of the school
Comments
In house Technology lab and local University can provide software and capabilities to execute post-production video work.
