Students will watch a tutorial on how to fly drones and the safety aspects of drones. We will then go over the basics of the drone and the parts of a drone. I will then demonstrate how to fly the drone and allow students to participate in flying them safely. Over the course of the year students would be able to do activities with the Drone. Students will be able to use the drones to take pictures and use for STEM activities in and outside the classroom. If we are awarded a grant then we can purchase multiple drones and allow more students to participate in drone usage. This will greatly open their eyes to new technology and how the world is evolving.
