Lesson Plan

1) Using a digital camera, have the students take photos of standing objects such as a tree or building.
2) Print one image four separate times on 8 1/2” x 11” cardstock.
3) Using different art supplies such as paint, crayons, oil pastels, and collage materials, have the students modify each image to make them unique. One idea is to create the four seasons; each image is a specific season.
4) When image is dry, scan the images, have students play with the different effects of Microsoft photo or Microsoft paint, and then print the final images on a semi- gloss photo paper.
5) Students can then create their display for their images.
Examples: Creating a sculpture to display the images, or have the students create a series using cut matt board. Ideas are endless!
