Students will first work in the industrial arts program to create products useful in the Native subsistence culture, such as fishing baskets. The students will also work in their English classes to create an advertising campaign for their products. They will use digital photography and layout programs to create print advertising such as flyers to put up around the community. Students will also use movie editing software to create television advertising, combining digital photography, videography, writing skills, and careful music selection. These television commercials will be place on the school's website to help advertise real products. The proceeds from the sales of the student products will then be used to fund further projects or student activities.
