Student photographs of local buildings using design principals in a power point demonstration. Students will apply their knowledge of asymmetrical dynamic design by capturing images of local buildings. Students will choose their best five images based on the following criteria.
1. The photograph must utilize the entire frame with a strong range of value. 2. The photograph must be asymmetrical and have interesting line direction. 3. The photograph should show consideration of light and clear focus on the main areas of emphasis. 4. One photograph can be manipulated in photo shop to add focus in any of the design areas. Be creative! Show the viewer what you find unique about the buildings in your community.
Students will then take the best five photographs and put them in a power point presentation to share with the class.
