All About Me

Students are given a hard copy. The hard copy has categories that were created in Kidspiration. There are pictures that go with the words for the visual learners. Students must write 5-7 things they like in every category.

The categories are:
Dreams and Goals
The Ways I am Special
Heroes
Family
Friends
Hobbies
Cool Web Sites
Things I like to do at Home
Food
Sports
Movies and TV Shows
Games
Vacations
Positive Ways to Earn Money
Books and Magzines
Music

After students fill out their hard copy they transfer that information to Microsoft Word.

Students that know the basics help the teacher teach the class. This empowers students. Please, make sure you pick different students all the time.

In this assignment they should learn how to change font size & color, change the justification, double space, add Clip Art and Word Art, add bullets, save and save as, spell check, word count, and how to do text effects (their favorite!).

After students type their information into Microsoft Word they will copy and paste each category into one slide in PowerPoint. Students must have a slide for each of these these categories: Dreams and Goals, The Ways I am Special, Heroes, Family, Friends, and Hobbies. After that they must pick 5 more categories. Students can always do more if they want but it must be school appropriate.
