Anyone with a microphone, video camera, a Windows computer, and an internet connection can publish audio or video podcasts to people anywhere in the world! You no longer need 3-5 different software programs to create a podcast or vodcast. All you need is the simplicity of Tool Factory Podcasting with Video. The software combines a scripting tool, sound recorder and video recorder, easy uploading, and broadcast utility into one easy interface. You can record your podcast's audio or video directly into the program or import any major audio or video file onto the timeline using the easy to use interface. Then once you have set your podcast's title and episode title, you can simply publish and promote your podcast with the ease of one click!

If you can “point-and-click”, then you have all the skills necessary to create fantastic podcasts or vodcasts! Walnut is celebrating its 50th anniversary. The project would have students from all age levels taking picture and creating a living snap shot of the community regardless of age, sex, or beliefs. This would be put on display in City Hall and used as a video for the local Cable Network.

The project involves the older students reading from their science texts and recording new vocabulary as well as the definition, and using the recordings to study these new ideas. The podcasts can be shared with other readers, non-readers, and/or struggling students, as well as traded with other studetns to quiz eachother for benchmark mastery.
