By registering as a teacher you attest that:
1. Public School or Nonprofit - I work at a public school or a 501(c)3 non-profit educational institution.
2. PreK-12 Level - I work with students learning at the PreK-12 level.
3. Voluntary Participation - My participation is completely voluntary and I am responsible for all the content that I upload.
4. No Copyright Violation - I will not violate any copyright rules by uploading photos or content that belongs to another party.
5. Donations - If there is adequate money in my account to purchase my top wish list item I understand that on June 1st of each year, Digital Wish reserves the right to purchase this for me, in an effort to support the donor's intended contribution. I can choose not to have Digital Wish purchase a wish list items for my classroom by editing the settings in my profile after I login.
6. Agreement May Change - Digital Wish Reserves the right to change this user agreement terms at any time.
7. School Property - Any items purchased through Digital Wish will become legal property of the educational institution I am employed by, at the time the purchase is made.
8. No Screening - Digital Wish does not screen any participants on the site. If I connect with someone through Digital Wish, I am completely responsible for screening them to ensure the safety of my students.
Security Information
Donated funds may only be used to purchase technology products displayed in the shopping area of Digital Wish. This ensures that funds cannot be misallocated.
To prevent fraudulent claims, Digital Wish does not allow direct access to funding from the online system at www.digitalwish.org. We utilize a "virtual checkbook" which displays the amount donated to schools, but does not connect directly to any donated funds.
When a cash donation is made to a school, Digital Wish will contact the school directly using an offline directory to ensure that the person claiming funds is authorized to do so, by the school. We make sure the teacher is on staff to avoid any fraudulent claims. As soon as authorization is received, the funding becomes available to be used towards purchases.
We always ensure that product donations go directly to a designated contact person who is aware that the donated products are coming.

We do our best to award grants to the teachers with the best lesson plans, great profiles, and most active users. You can increase your chances of winning a grant by getting involved:
1. Run a fundraiser in 5 minutes!
2. Run a letter-writing campaign.
3. Get your friends to register, share lesson plans and you’ll be closer to winning grants.
Privacy Policy
1. Upon teacher registration, Digital Wish collects name, e-mail address, school, and school federal tax identification number.
2. Upon donor registration, Digital Wish collects name, e-mail address, phone number, and address.
3. Upon purchase of a product Digital Wish temporarily collects payment information. This information is not stored in the Digital Wish system and is used as a one time transaction.
4. All personal information is private unless the user chooses to make it public, with the exception of chosen hometown and school contact information.
5. Participation as a Virtual Volunteer on Digital Wish will automatically make your profile information public.
6. Digital Wish does not send, sell, or in any way distribute user information to any third party site.
