RotateGreat app except it overrides the Auto Rotation toggle. There are only a handful of apps that do this and I find it completely unacceptable. Fix this and I'll change it to 5 stars.

Annoying bugMy device won't play HD video, and this app always plays HD video's by default. This means I have to switch back to low-res *every* f-in time I want to see a talk. If a user is viewing a low-res video, chances are he wants to see the low-res version of the next video too!

Random stopsNice app, but it very often just stops during playback and I have to restart the feed, about every 4min. HTC desire HD and Samsung gio. Never had this problem anywhere else.

Storage usageUsed up 25 Mb of internal storage even though it was moved to SD. Poor behavior for an app designed to run on a mobile device with limited resources.

Cache data eats up memoryGreat app but stores all the thumbnail pics on main memory. Can we get an option to save it on the SD card or will thar affect speed and performance? Righr now the app adds an additional 10MB of data to memory even after it is moved to the SD Card. If the app is moved to the SF Card so should the cache. May seem like a small issue but some of us have limited memory on our phones.

Constant freezesEven when not using it, the application causes my phone to freeze. On multiple occasions for no apparent reason my phone would cease responding and then after a minute or two advise that Ted has stopped responding. I will reinstall if this issue gets resolved

:( cant view whole videosi love the talks alot but now when im watchin a vid it suddenly stops and when that happens the numbers change from giving the length of the vid to a random number in the 3hundreds.. so basically i dont get to watch the whole vid even if i replay :'(

Buggy :(I like TED,but this is a buggy app. There is always a large play icon or the busy icon on the center of the screen of my tablet (running android v2.3) when the video is playing. Also the estimated time of video on bottom right corner shows time in hundreds of hours!!!

Seek bar virtually uselessSony arc: considering it's raison d'etre is to play video the developers should spend more time on the seek bar whilst playing a video. It is not functional.

HTC Tablet Won't StopRunning Honeycomb. Talks start, video goes away, voice continues and none of screen controls work. Only fix is to reboot tablet. This problem reported below by HTC Flyer user too. Odd that this is a recommended app by Sprint editors in market place!

Crashes tf201 tabletEvery time I pause a video then come back to it later after the tab goes to sleep, this app freezes and the tablet automatically reboots. Happens pretty reliably even when its the only app running after a fresh reboot. I love Ted and would love this app to work as it is very well designed, but this problem obviously makes it next to unusable. 4 stars if fixed as I would like a feature so I can read comments on videos

Annoying. Better of going to the actual siteThe video player in this app always freezes videos after five or so minutes. It is so terribly annoying. You are much better off using your browser and going to the actual site if you want to watch them and not just browse and bookmark.

Freezes constantlySeems like a great app if it works. It freezes after the intro of the video is played (but the audio keeps playing). It gets annoying because even after killing the program the audio keeps playing.

Downloads don't show upGreat minimalistic design, highly informative and educational. No issues with streaming but downloaded videos often vanish into thin air both before and/or after watching them. Fix this. Galaxy Nexus ICS 4.0.4

Love you, TED, but...If I only use this app every few weeks, and automatic updates are turned off, there's really no reason for you to start yourself and run in the background every time I start my phone or switch networks. Buh-bye; uninstalled.

Less friendly to deaf or hhTed air has caption support. This does not. Not only that but Ted air also has tons filtering support. This is way too bare bones. Pass till TED fixes this.

Weak compared to alternativesSeems to store downloads in phone memory instead of SD card. Does not display talk duration until playing the talk. Cannot browse by speaker name. Blinding white background color.

BrokenHTC Evo View tablet. Every time I try to play a video the app crashes but audio keeps playing in the background with no way to kill it other than reboot. Annoying at best. I'll stick to their YouTube channel.

Ghost stillSlow accessing videos. Get better response from the web. Froze in mid video, and now I have a ghost when I close othet apps. Gonna uninstall. Motorola Atrix 4G.
