In the lesson plan, students delve into these artistic qualities as they first explore famous artists’ portraits, which grounds them in a range of styles and art history, all of which students reflect on as they design their self-portraits, which they will create using Photoshop using both the standard desktop computer and the WACOM tablet to compare/contrast the impact of the different technologies on the design process and final product.
