My Philosophy:
My philosophy of education is that all students can learn something. It may not be in my time, but they can still learn. Our children also need to be exposed to the latest technology in order to help them stay current in this fast paced technological world.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a native of Huntsville and teach not far from the schools I attended as a students. I have been teaching for 8 years at my current school. I love being a fifth grade teacher. At this age, the children are so ready to begin grasping mature ideas and concepts.
College and Degrees:
I received my bachelor's degree from Alabama A&M University and my master's with the University of Phoenix.
Activities:
I love to read, travel, and hang out with my husband and baby girl.
Favorite Books:
My favorite books are usually childrens books. Anything written by Andrew Clements and Roald Dahl. My favorites are Frindle and The BFG.

Interests:
My interests include finding professional develpment that centers around technology use and reading and math strategies for struggling students.
Employment History:
I have been teaching at Morris for the last 8 years. Before that, I worked at Home Depot for 5 years.

I teach because I love children and I love to see the light bulb come on in those little heads!
