Why Do I Teach?:
I decided at an early age that I wanted to be a teacher for a few reasons. First, I struggled as a learner due to a learning disability and was often told that I would not become very successful in my adult years. This was told to me repeatedly by teachers. I did not want other students to be put down for their diverse ways of learning. So I made the wise decision to become an active and positive educator in kid’s lives. Next, I always wanted to do something special in my life. I would dream about being famous, but today I am famous to my students both past and present. Finally, I am a learner and I enjoyed learning. Teaching allows me to not just, but to learn.
