Class Description:
We have three sections of sixth grade students that I teach this year. In my homeroom I have 8 white boys, 5 black boys, 3 white girls and 5 black girls. There are six special education students in that class with one aid.

Needs:
We recently received laptops from a grant given by the govenor. I want to get my studetns to produce, newspapers, books and various other projects using digital technology. I would love to get some cameras in my classroom, software and supplies that would aid us in actually creating our own hardcover books.

About Me:
I am in 12th year of teaching and I am always looking for ways to enhance my students education.
College and Degrees:
I am presently obtaining my master's online through Walden University.
Employment History:
I taught 7 years at a very low income school. I am presently in a rural school that has 515 students.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I want all children to have the same opportunity to an education no matter what their abilities are.
