Class Description:
I teach math to three different classes. Believe me when I say that my student population is extremely diverse, covering all socio-economic levels, races, and genders.
Position:
6th Grade Teacher
Needs:
I would love to have a set of digital cameras and one or two laptop computers so my students could record their world and use the images to educate their peers and parents.
My Philosophy:
I believe that students learn best through hands-on activities and that a teacher must connect any new content to background knowledge and experiences that can be understood at the tactile and local level.

Interests:
I want to surf all over the world and show my children all of the wonders the world has to offer. I want to show underprivileged children all I can about the world around them. So often they are exposed to so precious little!

I am a seven year teacher veteran and I started in Baltimore City (I had to sink or swim.).
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because something inside of me continues to feel the need to offer what I can to any child who is near enough to me to hear me!
