Class Description:
I teach special education and serve as a technology master teacher in the school district. The students I teach have a variety of disabilities and cover the same material as regular education students. This year I'm teaching Adapted Biology and Adapted Human Anatomy and Physiology. Special Education students with attention deficits, learning disabilities, autism and other disabilities love using technology. It grabs their attention and gets them involved. Sadly, in or urban district, special education students frequently don't have access to technology.
