Class Description:
I teach a diverse group of fun loving first graders. My class is made up of students from various backgrounds and socio-economic statuses. My students and I explore many concepts in reading, writing, math, science and social studies.

About Me:
I am currently in my fourth year of teaching and can't get enough of the natural curiosity that children possess! I am currently pursuing my Master's Degree in Literacy Education so that I can better assist my students in reading and writing.
College and Degrees:
I attended Hope College in Holland Michigan where I majored in Language Arts and earned my Elementary Education certificate. Iam currently pursuing my Masters Degree at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill.
Activities:
I enjoy reading, running, traveling and baking.
