Class Information:
Students per Class: 29
Class Description:
There are 29 students who qualify for special education services in the middle school. I do not have all these students at one time. They come from the regular classroom to receive individual help or they receive instruction in the resouce room because they read and work at a low level than their peers.

Smartboard, projector, laptops, digital camera lab
My Philosophy:
I believe that all children can be successful in learning. Every student learns differently and to be successful they need to be given the right equipment, strategies, and encouragement.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am the first in my family to graduate from college. I raised my three children and sent them to college before I went back to school to become a teacher, so I am in my fifth year of teaching special education. Two of my children have followed by becoming teachers also.

Activities:
I enjoy working on the farm with cattle and hay. I also enjoy gardening, cooking, and spending time with my family.

Interests:
I enjoy spending time with my husband and children. I enjoy traveling to new places and doing new things.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I enjoyed raising and being involved with my children's education. I feel that I can have an impact on other children's education, like I had on my children. I would not be doing this if I did not enjoy working with children.
