Epson PowerLite LCD Projector, $999.95, 0.00% raised
Epson PowerLite LCD Projector Rank:
Single Unit Why I need this:
With EIP students- when they sit individually at a computer- they are not able to carry on conversations or to learn from a great deal of good instructional websites/programs. With this projector, my students will be able to have class discussions and talk with each other through what they are viewing/learning.

Class Information:
Room Number: 504
Students per Class: <20
Class Description:
Self-contained EIP classroom. These are non special ed students with limited prior knowledge experiences. I bring in a lot of organizational skills that students have not had the opportunity to use/learn.
Position:
EIP teacher
Needs:
I am interested in getting an LCD projector- so that I can bring computer programs to the whole class at once. I need to make it available for students to share experiences and have discussions to increase understanding.
My Philosophy:
If children are excited and engaged in learning- they are going to be more successful. The computer has so much to offer, but when a child is at the computer individually- they are not maximizing the learning opportunities.

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I want to make a difference in the future. I love being around children- especially during those "aha" moments. Parents have told me that their child never did well in school- till they got to my class. I want students to want to learn!!!
