Rural school focusing on updates in technology. Smartboard in my classroom, but class has limited access to computers. With class sizes so high, using the computer lab as a class is difficult due to the lab having only 18 computers.

About Me:
I have taught for 10 years. My first teaching position was in a rural school in Manatee County, Florida. I taught in Florida for 8 years. After my brother's enlisted in the Special forces and was wounded in Iraq twice (the second injury fatal), I moved back to my hometown in Ohio to be closer to my family.
College and Degrees:
B.S. in elementary Education from The Ohio State University
CompletingMaster's in Education from Muskingum College by completing the requirements for National Teacher Certification in 2008-2009.

Why Do I Teach?:
I love to make students think and expose them to ideas they may never think about at home or during their summer vacations. I enjoy identifying students strengths and weaknesses and designing learning activities to assist them in becoming a better student.
