Class Description:
I am department head for the special education department at Silver Bluff High School. I teach English to the district diploma students at our school. They are working toward a district diploma that documents work ability, rather than a state diploma.

Needs:
We need all types of technology, as we have little technology in our department. We need computers (desktop or laptops), software, printers, scanners, projectors, a cash register for our work simulation lab, as well as MP3 players, DVD players and other small devices.
My Philosophy:
I believe all students have strengths and weaknesses and all students can learn. I believe the teacher facillitates learning, by creating learning experiences for students to access at their own rate and level.
