Class Description:
Beginning level art students in 7th, 8th grades and Art I classes. Intermediate classes are Art II and III with advanced students in the Art Practicum program.

Needs:
For beginning art students, the digital camera will give them an idea of how to compose quality photographs, how to use the aperture and shutter settings and how to focus the camera taking advantage of certain "depth of field" techniques to control the center of interest. More advanced students will do all of the above with the added expectation that they will use it creatively to communicate ideas, altering the imagery on the computer for further emphasis.
