Class Description:
My class is a Social Skills/Content Support class for students on the Autism Spectrum. Students come to my class as Freshmen and continue to have my class until they graduate. During this time, I build relationships with them and assist them in socially navigating school and the outside world.

Why Do I Teach?:
I believe the primary purpose of education is to make a difference in the lives of my students. I believe students learn best when they are in a safe, bully-free environment that is appropriate for their learning style. I am a passionate teacher who is committed to promoting high student achievement and prefers to teach one to one, in a small group setting or collaboratively in a co-teaching, inclusion environment. I have a bubbly, positive attitude and look forward to new training and learning experiences for myself and my students. I have strong work ethic and a genuine commitment to creating personalized learning and authentic connections to the world beyond school.
