Constantine Elementary School
Class Information:
Room Number: 115
Students per Class: 40
Class Description:
I teach math to two classes of fourth graders everyday!
Position:
5th grade teacher
Needs:
We need to purchase student response systems, to use with our interactive whiteboard. It will help us to use our interactive whiteboard more effectively, and engage my students at the same time.
My Philosophy:
My philosopy is Failure is Not an Option!!! I do whatever it takes, to produce first rate math students. I will not accept phrases like, "I'm just not a math person" or " I can't do it, it's too hard". I am determined to meet my students where they are, and change the equation of their situations!!!
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a simple woman. I love math, and my job as a 4th grade teacher. I LOVE Alabama Football, and classic rock n roll. I want to send students out into the world, that can actually make change without a calculator. I want to give my students that foundation in math that we all need.
College and Degrees:
I have a MS Degree in Elementary Education from Jacksonville State University.
Activities:
Teaching, camping, ladies group at my church.
Favorite Books:
My favorite books vary widely. Right now I'm reading a book of short stories by Stephen King.
Favorite Quotes:
If you do what you always did, you get what you always got!

I like to camp, I am active in my church, and I enjoy hanging out with my family when time allows.
