My Philosophy:
Show your students how much you value them as an individual and they will do their best to impress you! Treat your students the way you would want another to treat your child. Every time a student hugs me I tell them that they are giving me a hug from my own child.

About Me:
43, married to Mike for 19 years. 3 daughters-all beautiful and different. Like to surf the internet, enter contests on-line. Just won $2500 for my school. Daughter won a science contest-$500, ipod, science membership. (These contests are starting to pay off!)Love Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Love to play Yahtzee. Would love to travel but too busy with kids and not enough money. Love the beach and Disney!!!

BS from Western KY. University; I am currently attending U of L to comlete my masters in special education/learningdisabilities.
Activities:
Going out with teacher friends to eat, love to rent movies, like to cook when I have the time and I'm not doing laundry or cleaning!! (I make a mean coconut cream pie!) Love to swim and ski, do not have a boat though!!

I don't really like quotes. In fact, when I see quotes, I just pass them up. I look at actions. Anyone can say something and be quoted. Actions speak louder than words!

Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because I love kids. I would rather be with kids who are honest and sincere. Their innocence and truthfulness captivates me every single day. I'm lucky to love what I do.
