Class Description:
I teach in a small town on the outskirts of the suburbs of Kansas City. The kids are all full of love, and want to be at school. I am a very creative teacher, that tries to meet the needs of each and everyone of my students. I want my kids to want to be at school, and find it as an exciting place to learn.

Needs:
Digital camaras - I have been doing a lot of reading and researching learners of the 21st Century. I want to implement technology with my students in their learning, to help to prepare them in this ever changing world. Our classroom is more than just pencils and paper. I would love to use digital camaras with my students doing homework and lessons. I have many ideas how I would like to use these cameras. Currently my school only has two digital cameras for 350 students. I would like to have the students use it in all subjects from making pictures and making it into a story, to using it to document science projects and lessons, to using it on field trips assigning students items to find. There are so many endless possibilities!!! I am hoping using the lessons from this website to add on to my experience in teaching and to touch my students.

About Me:
I am currently going on my 8th year of teaching. I love everyday being in the classroom with my fourth grades. They give me so much energy and love of life. I am also a collage artist, and have my art displayed around the Kansas City area, local art fairs. I enjoy spending time with my friends and family, and especially my two dogs, a pug and wiener dog.
College and Degrees:
This spring I completed my masters degree in educational leadership through Pittburg State University. In May 2001 I completed my undergraduate degree in elementary education at Kansas State University.
