Class Description:
We are an alternate school and do not have a budget, nor do we have a means to raise money. Our school contains two computer labs and one wireless cart of 8 laptops. "At-risk" kids need technology for instruction and learning. We are unable to purchase smart boards, cameras, and other technology that would allow our kids the opportunity to be engaged in 21st century learning activities. We are a 6-12 school and will soon be adding grades 3-5. As the the new principal of Warlick, one of my goals is to increase the access to technology, so that our students have the ability to compete in a 21st century work environment that demands these skills and knowledge, as well as the ability to be problem-solvers, creative and can work cooperatively with peers. Teachers will be introduced to this service and will be able to qualify for the grants and donations you are offering, along with the availability of lesson plans and opportuinites to make their contribution with lesson plans.
