I believe all students can learn at high levels and that it is my job to engage them in learning activities needed to be successful in a global economy.

About Me:
This is my forth year teaching middle school History at Hazelwood Northwest.
College and Degrees:
I am currently pursuing and administrative degree in secondary education.
Activities:
I tutor in the spring to prepare students to do well on the MAP test as well as sponsor softball intramurals. I also serve on the professional development committee and "Closing the Achievement Gap" team.

One quote I continuously use in my classroom to provide feedback to students is "Fix It" because I hold all students to a very high standard and if an answer or assignment isn't their best, I ask them to fix it.
