Class Description:
I teach Keyboarding and Computer Literacy to students at my middle school. I assist other teachers with their classroom projects, research, and papers.

Needs:
My classroom currently has 25 computers in good working condition. However, the lab down the hall that teachers use when my lab is full is referred to as the "dinosaur lab." I would like for that lab to be updated with 20-25 new or gently used desktops with a dedicated student printer. When teachers need to use the lab during my class time, they usually rotate children in and out depending on spots available.

About Me:
I am a teacher and part-time graduation coach at the middle school where I work.
College and Degrees:
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Business Education from the University of Georgia and a Master's Degree in School Counseling from Fort Valley State University. I am also a certified ESOL educator and am certified in Middle Grades Reading.
Activities:
I am the advisor for the middle school chapter of FBLA. I am a mother of two very active children. I enjoy going to the beach and scrapbooking as time permits.
Interests:
I love UGA football!! I also love my local high school team the Hawkinsville Red Devils!
Employment History:
I have worked as a social worker for almost three years. I taught at an alternative school for 5 years and was the school counselor there for 4 years. I am currently employed at Pulaski County Middle School as a teacher. Next year, I will be working as a graduation coach for part of the day.
Why Do I Teach?:
I enjoy spending time with children and helping them grow/learn.
