Needs:
Riley Elementary is a Title 1 School with approximately 480 students that are represented by a broadly diverse community of Native Americans, African Americans, Asian/Pacific Islanders, Caucasians, and Hispanics with 46% of the total student population being Hispanic.
Our students traditionally do not have the opportunity to appropriately use and access technology at home. Our studentys need to be taught how to use various types technologies so they can achieve a better quality of life as they integrate technology in their everyday lives. As each individual student begins to know what technologies will accommodate their learning needs, they will learn to adapt those experiences across multiple real world environments—thatis, the school, home, community, and eventually the workplace.
