Class Description:
Literature will focus on reading selections in a variety of genres, analyzing literary elements through group discussions and independent study. Writing for a variety of purposes and audiences, advanced language arts students will increase their control over the written language. Using the writing process, students will learn to pay careful attention to the author’s craft - examining the content and development, the organization, the quality of voice, and the use of language conventions in their own writing and the writings of others.

Needs:
I teach an inclusive classroom so I have students who are identified as special education both on the low end and the gifted side. We are in need to technology to actively engage the students in all levels in learning at this level.
My Philosophy:
I believe that for students to learn and succeed they need to be actively involved in learning that is focused on their needs, abilities, and interests. Having the technological means to meet those needs would insure the success of all my students.
