Yearbook: Production of a journalistic account of the school year including: marketing, selling, planning, taking pictures, writing stories and using graphic design. LearningCenter: Online based reding comprehension intervention program.

Needs:
I would like to create new technology oriented electives available at other California high schools including: graphic design, media/video production and newspaper. In order to start these programs, our school needs computers, cameras, video cameras, and software.
My Philosophy:
To compete in today's technological advanced global society, students need hands on experience before the graduate from high school. Innovative programs will also encourage students to attend school and motivate them to complete core classes. If students attend school on a regular basis, it is easier to reach them and teach them! We need more competent high school graduates. More students excelling in high school means more productive adults in our society.
