Why I need this:
We have three self contained and six inclusion classes. We are trying to offer multidimensional lessons, with visual, audio and kinesthetic modalities. This benefits all learners. We purchased an ELMO but are unable to purchase the projector because of a budget crunch at the end of the year. We would be able to use it for shared reading,, for demonstrating math manipulatives in 3D, as well as making books and visuals available in color to increase engagement in those students with attention deficits. The projector could also be connected to a laptop that the library has that can be used to show Unitedstreaming clips and PowerPoint Presentations. We would eventually add an Interwrite to the system for further interactive lessons. We think this would allow us to reach all learners but especially those with special needs.
