Class Description:
The students make-up of our school is culturally diverse. We are a bilingual school district. All schools in the district provide instruction in all areas in two or three languages. I provide intervention services to groups of students in grades K-5, English and Spanish, in the area of reading
Position:
Bilingual Reading Resouce Teacher
Needs:
I would like to be able to use technology to enhance the instruction of the basic skills in reading, writing, listening, and speaking. I am seeking netbooks or small laptops for use in small group and individual instruction
My Philosophy:
Students need to be actively engaged in meaningful activities that require them to apply and stretch their learning.
