Sidney Fenn Elementary School
Hometown:
Medina, OH
Class Information:
Students per Class: 23
Class Description:
I teach a regular-ed 2nd grade class. The students are diverse in their abilities, academic levels, and socio-economic levels.
Position:
second grade teacher
Needs:
I need a class set of Classroom Performance System clickers. This technology will enable me to see which students understand concepts while I am teaching. In an instant, I will know, as a class, the percentage of students who understood a question and ,individually, who gave a correct response and who did not. This will enhance my teaching by being able to individualize a concept during instruction. Also, after observing a class using the CPS devices, all children were engaged in learning. They were enjoying the experience!

I received my teaching license from Baldwin-Wallace College. I also received a communication degree and my minor was psychology. I received my master's degree from Marygrove College. Since then, I have taken over 30 credits of education-relatedcourses.

Almost any children's book!
Favorite Quotes:
Give your help to someone today. You never know when it will be too late.
Why Do I Teach?:
I decided to devote my career life to children because I want to make a difference in their lives and our community. I believe every child can learn and succeed. My job is to make sure I reach them at the level they are at. I have a love of learning and I hope to share that with my students.
