Students per Class: 28-32 each class
Class Description:
I have taught Chemistry, Physical Science, and Earth and Space. This year I am the only Earth and Space teacher. I love to allow students opportunities to explore their knowledge, ask questions, and then build upon that learning.
Position:
Science Teacher
Needs:
I would like 10 tablets for my classroom. There are some great apps that allow students opportunities to explore Space and our Earth. I have 8 table groups so student would work together and share. I was looking at having 2 extras for those oops situations that are inevitable.
My Philosophy:
Start with what they know, allow them opportunities for curiosity to guide some learning, and then build upon it. When we build upon what we already know, retention and understanding is higher.
