Why Do I Teach?:
I want to inspire kids to reach for goals that they might have thought unattainable. So many kids are fascinated with flight. I am a private pilot. I didn't know until I was an adult that I had any interest in flying. After flying with my husband I realized that I wanted to be at the controls! I saved my money and began to take lessons. It was very new and challenging - sometimes scary. But I did it! Now I teach 8th graders and want them to know they can accomplish anything if they are wiling to put the work into it.
