My Philosophy:
Not all students are the same and I shouldn't expect them to all learn in the same ways. I think it is important that all the students have ample opportunities to learn the key principals of Algebra.

About Me:
I'm a first year teacher anxious to get started in my career that I feel like I've been training for, forever (actually just the past 5 years). I'm anxious to put all my experiences from college to use and see where my journey of being a teacher will take me!
College and Degrees:
James Madison University in the lovely Harrisnburg, VA was my home for my undergrad and graduate career. I have a Master's of Teaching and have been trained solely in the instruction of Middle School Pedagogy with a concentration in Science and Math!
Activities:
Tennis, Swimming, going to the gym, hanging out with friends, meeting new people, reading, and watching TV (I love pop culture!).
Favorite Books:
Five People you Meet in Heaven is my ultimate favorite but I'm in to the usual chick lit era.
Favorite Quotes:
"Only surround yourself with people who bring out the best in you." I'm not sure who says this but it's my mantra.
Interests:
Learning new things, though I just graduated college I'm eager to further my education.
Employment History:
This is my first full time teaching gig but I have done a long term sub down in Virginia!
