Class Description:
I have a very diverse class in a title one school. They have one very important characteristic in common...they are in school to learn and are highly motivated. My class loves to learn through books and play. They are captivated with technology and want me to provide more.

My Philosophy:
My job as a teacher is to create lifelong learners. I strive to develop the whole child so they will become productive members of society. Diversity abounds in kindergarten. Children from different backgrounds, have developed differently, and have various learning styles. All children can learn and through celebrating their diversity all children will learn.

I have a BA from Shepherd University. I am currently enrolled in a Masters in Elementary Ed program at Winston Salem State University.
Interests:
I love to travel and bring back movies and pictures to share with my class as virtual field trips.
Employment History:
I have taught in Lexington City Schools for 13 years. I have taught kindergarten for 9 years.
