Class Description:
I teach in a magnet school with a majority of minority students. They apply to come from all over the city.

Needs:
A laptop computer cart with laptops so my class has new equipment to make our yearbook and magazines with. Our computers are too out of date to support the software we need to operate.
My Philosophy:
Every student should have equal access to the curriculum. Since only a small percent can now produce our publication the other students are left waiting for an empty computer to work on. We have four computers to 35 students. Even in pairs all will not have "equal" access.

I am credentialed in both English and Social Studies. The yearbook our class produced came in second place in the country in the 1990's/
