This classroom would benefit greatly from having a LCD projector. With a projector I will be able to show the videos that come with our textbook, project lessons, and my students would be able to present their final projects, what would help them develop their Spanish language skills.
Personal Information:
About Me:
I am a Spanish Teacher with previous experience in teaching English as second Language in Brazil. As a langage learner, I know by first hand experience that in order to effectivelly learn a language, it is necessary to develop listenning and speaking skills. I have been trying my best to replicate what I had in Brazil, as an ESL student and teacher, to my students by creativelly bringing into my classroom some sort of language lab.
College and Degrees:
BA in Liberal Arts from Marshall University.
Why Do I Teach?:
I teach because, very selfishly saying, I like it. This job drives me crazy, frustrates me to my limits, reminds me of how horrible I was to my teachers. And I love it! Everyday I have to be able to access the challenges ahead of me, and very quicly be able to use creativity to solve each one of them in order to provide people with tools that will help them have a better future. To me teaching is similar to playing a chess game with no end.
