Personal Information:
About Me:
Farming wife of over 21 years, mother of three boys (12, 15, and 21), mother for Dakota (St. Bernard) and Jinx (black cat). Oldest son is in the Army. Started training to be an archaeologist, work in a museum, and travel the world but ended up putting my science to the best work as a teacher. Love Space and applied to the Educator Astronaut program last cycle. Participated as a Honeywell Space Academy Teacher in June 2007 and currently volunteer as an Advocate Teacher for the Kalamazoo AirZoo. Recently won first place in the Samsung Elggectronics "Hope for Education" essay contest in 2009.
