Students per Class: approx. 500 total between two buildings
Class Description:
Information/EducationalTechnology classes from grade K to 5. Our students range in varying abilities and come a variety of socio-economic backgrounds.
Position:
K-5 Educational Technology Teacher
Needs:
Our school needs as much technology based items as we can get. We lack proper funding to obtain even the most basic technology items. We can use anything from the basic input devices (mice) to digital cameras, digital video, computers, projectors, smart boards and the list goes on.
My Philosophy:
The children I teach are our "customers". Our school's technology, resources and staff should be dedicated to support ALL students regardless of ability or age level. I strive each and every day to provide my students with experiences I did not have when I attended elementary school. I want learning to be fun at all times. I believe that children thrive in structured and fun environments. When we are having fun, are relaxed and truly at ease, we learn the most with the least amount of effort.
