Queens H.S. For the Sciences at York College
Class Information:
Room Number: 213
Students per Class: 65
Class Description:
We have two BC Calculus classes and one AB Calculus class in our school. The students are all hard working and striving to do well on the Advanced Placement Exam.
Position:
teacher
Needs:
We would like to have 65 TI NSpire - CAS calculators, one for each student in our school who is in advanced placement calculus. These calculators would enable the students to solve calculus problems more efficiently and quicker than on the traditional graphing calculators.
My Philosophy:
I believe that all students should have the technological tools to enable them to succeed at a high level. Since some of these tools are expensive, certain students may not be able to obtain them. Therefore, we should do whatever possible to enable all students to have the same advantages.
