Class Description:
The Three Lakes Educational Cooperative provides comprehensive special education services to all eligible children from birth to 21 years of age in six school districts. The school districts include: West Franklin, USD 287; Osage City, USD 420; Lyndon, USD 421; Santa Fe Trail, USD 434; Burlingame, USD 454; and Marais des Cygnes Valley, USD 456. Services provided include: physical and occupational therapy, speech and language, and early childhood development.

The path to get to this current position has been a curvy one, I can't imagine working anywhere else. We like to call ourselves the "best little coop in Kansas" because the working environment is very supportive and our staff truly cares about the kids. So here it goes...my educational history: Butler County Community College - AA; University of Kansas - BS in athletic training; University of Kansas - Cert. in P.E./Health; Emporia State University - MS in adaptive special ed.

John Grisham - but I prefer his books based on crime and law versus the ones like Playing for Pizza & Skipping Christmas; Dave Ramsey and the Total Money Makeover - has truly changed our lives and put my husband and I on the path to Financial Peace

Why Do I Teach?:
The human brain is an amazing thing. Each time a new piece of information enters it, the brain is forever transformed. I like the idea of positively shaping each student into an individual that can be happy, productive and successful in our society.
