Why I need this:
The calculators that are provided by the school are very old and not of great quality. Each student needs to have his or her own calculator for testing and class work. If they can not use a calculator for certain problems, then the focus is not on the reasoning and problem solving. The students need to learn how to work with a calculator, because they are able to use it for part of the LEAP test. |
