The state of Georgia is implementing a new mathematics curriculum. I teach the Math 2 (sophomore level) course. The content includes quadratic functions, right triangles & basic trig, properties of circles, statistics, and piecewise, inverse, and exponential functions.

I am creating a 21st century classroom with low-cost technology. I have purchased a projector. With the use of my personal laptop, I am able to project my lessons on the screen. I continue to search for low-cost technology and software to make my classroom hands on and interactive. Currently, I am searching for a classroom response system.
My Philosophy:
I feel that my job as an educator is to prepare students for the real world. I want all of my students to be productive citizens in our community. There is an interdependence that exist within game of education.
